Dear Mr. Ilias Khan,
I am sorry to hear that nothing has helped make you feel better. I do suspect that the cause of your pain is the two disc disorders mentioned in your report: L3-L4 and L4-L5 discs. The report you related to me was as follows:
“Mild variable diffuse posterior annular bulging discs at L3/L4 and L4/5 levels indenting the thecal sac, abutting bilaterally with impingement of bilateral traversing nerve roots.”
Your report mentions a mild variable diffuse bulging that impinges the bilateral traversing nerve root. This does not make sense because a MILD DISC BULGE CANNOT EVER IMPINGE ON THE TRAVERSING NERVE ROOT. Thus, so for the impingement to occur the disc bulge has to be a herniation of moderate or greater severity.
A moderately herniated (bulged or slipped) spinal disc is a disorder that needs accurate treatment. They do not respond well to traction, laser or other forms of care and as such many find little to no help. Traction can, in fact, worsen a spinal disc disorder. We always encourage patients to avoid traction altogether. My suggestion is spinal decompression therapy. Our centers offer better methods of care through specialized equipment and targeted methods of therapy known as NSD Therapy. NSD Therapy is highly specific and rendered through a team of physiotherapists and chiropractors. Our centers use the RxDecom. The RxDecom is the best and most advanced form of Spinal decompression therapy. If you were here in Kuala Lumpur, I would have recommended 30-40 sessions of treatments over 4-8 weeks.
Bulging discs, herniated discs or extruded discs are conditions the progress with time. In other words, they tend to get worse. So, my advice is to let us see if we can help. I need to evaluate your condition to formulate a target specific treatment plan. We have helped thousands recover without surgery and hope to do the same for you.
We do not have MRI scanners in our centers. We refer our patient to a local hospital. The hospital charges about RM850-900 for a low back MRI. The quality of scan a good and the radiologist is well experienced. I hope this helped.
