Chiropractic Specialty Center® (CSC) provides chiropractic services, physiotherapy services delivered by registered physiotherapists, guided rehabilitation, and movement education through current CSC-branded centers in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Service and practitioner availability varies by location.
CSC’s first center opened in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, in 2006. The service model may coordinate chiropractic, physiotherapy, and guided rehabilitation when appropriate, with each practitioner remaining within the relevant professional scope.

Verified History
CSC was founded in 2006 by Yama Zafer, D.C.. He is registered in Malaysia with the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Council in the recognized practice area of chiropractic.
Yama earned the Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University – Kansas City in 1996. He has practiced professionally in chiropractic since 1996 and has practiced in Malaysia since 2006.
The service model developed under his direction may coordinate chiropractic services, physiotherapy, and guided rehabilitation where those services are available and considered appropriate following assessment.
Governance and Ownership
Chiropractic Specialty Center® is a registered brand used by separately registered Malaysian operating companies. The legal operator for each CSC-branded center is identified on the relevant location page and appointment documentation.
The Bukit Damansara center is operated by Chiropractic Specialty Center Sdn. Bhd. (Company No. 757008-A). Other CSC-branded centers are operated by separately registered companies under the applicable management, franchise, licence, or operating arrangements that authorize use of the CSC brand.
Brand standards, practitioner-registration requirements, and editorial requirements are maintained through those arrangements.

Services Available at CSC
CSC centers focus on the following professional services and education:
- Chiropractic services — assessment-informed musculoskeletal care provided by registered chiropractic practitioners. The methods used may vary according to the person’s health history, assessment findings, preferences, and the practitioner’s professional judgment.
- Physiotherapy services — soft-tissue care, muscle function, strength, flexibility, balance, and movement control provided by registered physiotherapists.
- Guided rehabilitation and exercise programs — structured programs that connect assessment findings with practical movement steps for daily activity.
- Movement education and posture guidance — practical information that people may apply at work, at home, and during exercise.
A person may receive chiropractic services only, physiotherapy services only, or a coordinated plan when both are available and considered appropriate. Recommendations are based on relevant assessment findings, the person’s goals, professional scope, service availability, and any referral considerations.

CSC provides chiropractic, physiotherapy, guided rehabilitation, and selected supportive services within the professional scope of the relevant practitioner. Medical, pharmaceutical, injection, and surgical services are outside CSC’s service scope. Where appropriate, a practitioner may recommend consultation with a medical, dental, or other qualified healthcare professional.
